Coal River Mountain is our last mountain untouched by mountaintop removal and it is in imminent danger of blasting. This would not only threaten our communities, it would also destroy our chance to have permanent jobs and renewable energy through ridge-top wind power. You have the power to rescind these permits. At any moment, Massey Energy could blast part of the Bee Tree site, on the containing ridge of the Brushy Fork sludge impoundment. Brushy Fork impoundment, permitted to hold 9.8 billion gallons of toxic sludge, is the tallest dam in the hemisphere, and it sits on top of a network of abandoned underground mines. We live in fear that the blasting could cause the dam to fail and create one of the greatest industrial disasters in our nation?s history. The emergency evacuation plan for the Brushy Fork sludge dam states that should it fail, a wall of water 50 feet high would hit Whitesville and result in the deaths of at least 998 people. Given this risk, blasting should not be allowed until your Department of Environmental Protection has conducted a thorough geo-technical examination of the impoundment?s stability in regards to the underground mines. Oh well, who needs to have their life run by a clock, anyway? That?s at the heart of what?s wrong with the whole Gregorian Calendar thing, but I don?t want to get off into that. Just suffice it to say I follow my heart, not some clock. And my heart has me journaling this, now. What will come forth? I?m like a little kid at Christmas, really I am, most times when I?m journaling. I never know, from one moment to the next, what will come forth. The beauty of this is that I?ve waited and watch a whole lifetime for it to happen. I?ve journaled since childhood, and known, all along, that some day I would be able to do this. Oh, I most always connected with Spirit when I wrote, but there was still so much of the lesser self in it. You?d be amazed at how childish it could be, really. Well, maybe you wouldn?t. Anyway, these days the stream is much clearer, and I learn so much when I journal. I get to see a whole new side of myself, too; my Higher Self, for that?s mostly who comes through when I journal. When I was a teen I used to start all my journals with ?Dear God,? then just start writing. Stream of consciousness, they called it, and it worked for me. Many an answer to life?s problems came to me that way. Still, it was nothing like so fee as it is now, with such a direct link. I highly recommend journaling for one and all, for men, women, and children. It?s an amazing route straight to Spirit. Anyway, enough about me. How are you doing? Have you made any progress embracing your dark side? Or how about just allowing that you have one? That?s a good start. We all do, you know; yes, even the saints and the ministers. It?s surprising they?re taking us in so thoroughly, but then it?s not. They first got us so thoroughly mind based. That did it. Mind is easily manipulated. Mind?s not heart, it?s not soul; it?s just thought. With their frequency nets that?ve been woven around our dear planet... it?s little wonder we?ve been trapped within mind. The electronic grid we?ve been locked deeply into?s the thing to watch... Of course, you can?t do this unless you sometimes get out of it. Turn off and unplug, yes unplug your electronic gadgets. Turn off the modem, the tv, the microwave, remove cell phone battery. Turn it off! As an example of how insidious these gadgets are or can be, consider the cell phone. Did you know you can be tracked by it? Did you know this can happen, even if you?re not using it? Not talking on it? Did you know this is still true if it?s off? In a restaurant in some city there was a meeting happening at one table there; Mafioso. Well, the Feds wanted to know what they?re saying, yet those guys are pretty sharp; spot a cop. No problem, with this day?s techno stuff. They used the cell phones of the other patrons around that table. They turned them into listening devices, and so made their recording of what was being said. This includes cell phones that were off, my friends. If the battery?s in it, it?s functional, and in ways you don?t know of. Don?t trust. We?ve been made to suck at the teat of this technology. We think we can?t do without it; ain?t that so? Well, have a look at that. Back off, and take one good look; just observe. What?s with that? Why that dependency? Is it healthy? Better yet, does it open us to manipulation? ... that?s the name of their game...those controllers.
