I wrote this song in 1993 and it stuck with me all this time. In 1993 my girlfriend of 5 years left me for one reason or another. I just wanted to go back home to Boston with her and try to start over but she was in school trying to get her P.H.D and I was shattered by everything that was going on around me. I didn?t know where to turn to or to talk to anymore. She was like a person who had died although she was still alive. I was alone and she was my best friend for 5 years. This song is the emotion of wanting something beautiful to go home with you or to where ever you go. I miss her still to this day. I wish I hadn?t sunk so low for so many years after she departed from me. That?s a life lesson that I?ve learned and I won?t repeat again. The video is a time framed photo set I took of a sunrise on the beach on the Gulf of Mexico 2 years ago. The picks were shot at minute intervals on a Saturday morning. The video is kind of lame. If I where wealthy and put some money into this song I would have done this all in animation. There would be plenty of aerial images of a storm with two birds flying over the plains states over the Appellation Mountain and eventually to the Atlantic Ocean. Most likely a pair of Ravens or Crows, gloomy in imagery penciled in black and white with a splatter of vivid color here and there through out the video.
