    In 1982 the singer/songwriter Kate Bush released Get Out Of My House on The Dreaming album. This song was in part a furious attack on her biographer, Fred Vermorel, and others she believed were invading her privacy. Fred Vermorel had written two anti-biographies of the singer (Princess of Suburbia, 1980 and The Secret History of Kate Bush, 1983). These works explored and played with Vermorel's fascination with celebrity culture and fan mentality. (Starlust, 1985 and Fandemonium 1989, mined the same interests). As a response to Kate's musical attack, Fred co-wrote Get Out Of My HEAD with Phil Johnstone (co-writer and producer with Robert Plant on Plant's solo albums, Now and Zen, etc). It was produced by Dave Barratt (re-mixer of Bowie's Fame90 etc www.davidbarratt.com) in The Chocolate Factory and Warner/Chappell studio.
